1. Find Phoenix in Payon at /navi payon 157/141. He will tell you about his unique training method. Agree to train with him.
If your Base Level is below 20 at the start of the training, Phoenix will send you to train first. You must gain 1 additional Base Level.
2. Talk to Phoenix again and take a short test.
3. After the questioning, speak with him once more to receive your new job and the reward for completing the trial: 1x 
Guard.
