Ninja Job Change Quest

1. In Alberta, find the Captain of Smuggler ship at /navi alberta 168/138. For 200 zeny, he will take you to Amatsu.

2. Enter the house where Cougar will attack you at /navi que_ng 30/65.

Talk to the man again afterward. He will say that he dislikes outsiders and that training novices is handled elsewhere. Travel to Einbroch and look for the mysterious man known to everyone as the Red Wildcat Joe.

3. Talk to the Suspicious Man at /navi einbroch 184/194. He will tell you that you must first pass a small trial. Exit Einbroch through the southern gate and find the seal beneath the red tree.

4. In the outskirts of Einbroch, locate the Normal pile of earth and try to dig it up at /navi ein_fild08 136/45. Keep digging until you find the seal.

5. Give the seal to the Red Wildcat Joe at /navi einbroch 184/194. He will say that he has already prepared a letter of recommendation for you. Take it to Cougar, but do not open it under any circumstances.

6. In Amatsu, meet Cougar again at /navi que_ng 30/65. He will ask you to bring 5x Iron Ore and 1x Phracon. Only after that will he acknowledge that you are worthy of becoming a ninja.

7. Hand over 5x Iron Ore and 1x Phracon to Cougar at /navi que_ng 30/65 to receive your new job, as well as a reward for completing the trial: 1x Asura [2].
