Merchant Job Change Quest

A Novice with Job Level 10 can become a Merchant.
Before starting the test, make sure to allocate all your unused skill points.

1. Go to the port city of Alberta and head to the north-west to find the Merchant Guild – /navi alberta_in 53/43.
Inside, speak to Chief Mahnsoo. To join the guild, you must pay a membership fee of 1,000 zeny. If you don’t have the full amount, you can pay half (500 zeny) now and the remaining 500 zeny after completing the test.

2. After paying the fee, you will be asked to deliver a package to a random recipient. Listen carefully to the guild master and write down the package number – you’ll need it later. To review the information, open your quest journal with Alt + U. If your delivery destination is Byalan Island, Mansa may also ask you to deliver a  Delivery Message to a Kafra Employee there. If you keep the envelope safe and hand it over to her, you’ll receive an additional 200 zeny after becoming a Merchant.

3. Go to the parcel storage room next door and speak with Union Staff Kay – /navi alberta_in 28/29.
Tell him the destination city and the package serial number, and he will give you the box.

4. Deliver the package to the recipient. Possible delivery locations:

Prontera	Take it to the Head of the Prontera Kafra Employee, located at the Swordsman Guild - /navi prontera 248/42. Possible package numbers: 2485741 or 2328137.
Geffen	Deliver to a Mage Guild Staff - /navi geffen_in 155/122. Possible package numbers: 2989396 or 2191737.
Morroc	Deliver to the Student – /navi morocc_in 140/102. Possible package numbers: 3012685 or 3487372.
Byalan Island	Deliver both the package and the Delivery Message to the Kafra Employee – /navi izlu2dun 106/58. Possible package numbers: 3318702 or 3543625.   How to get there: From Izlude, go to the north-eastern pier and speak to the Sailor – /navi izlude 197/205. Travel cost: 150 zeny.

5. Once you receive the delivery receipt, return to the Merchant Guild and talk to Union Staff Kay /navi alberta_in 28/29.
He will check the receipt and report your success to the guild master.

6. Finally, speak to Chief Mahnsoo /navi alberta_in 53/43, to change your job to Merchant.

If you chose to pay the fee in two installments, pay the remaining 500 zeny now.
