A Novice who has reached Job Level 10 can become an Acolyte.
Before taking the test, make sure you have allocated all your skill points.

 

1. Find the Prontera Church /navi prt_church 184/41. Head to the northeast part of Prontera, where the church is located. Inside, walk down the long hallway and turn right.
In the room, you will find Cleric - Father Mareusis. Speak to him to begin the test.

 

2. Receiving the Pilgrimage Test Once you confirm your sincere desire to serve God, Father Mareusis will assign you one of three possible tasks. You will need to find a priest in a remote area of the kingdom. To check your quest details, open the Quest Journal using Alt + U.

Tip: Bring some Fly Wings for faster travel.

3. Complete the Pilgrimage

 

 

Visiting Father Rubalkabara

 

3.1 Go to Father Rubalkabara. He can be found near the ruins northeast of Prontera.

 


Exit Prontera through the east gate, then travel up → right, or use navigation: /navi prt_fild03 365/255.

3.2 Speak to him. He will give you instructions and tell you to return to the Prontera Church.
Note: You cannot return to the city with a Butterfly Wing — your save point will be changed by the priest.

 
Visiting Mother Marthilda

 

3.1 Go to Mother Marthilda. She can be found near Morroc, the city southwest of Prontera.

 


In Prontera, speak to a Kafra Employee and use the teleport service to Morroc.
From there, enter the north portal and head to the ruins.
Navigation: /navi moc_fild07 41/355.

3.2 Speak to her. She will give you a recommendation.
Now return to the Prontera Church.
Note: You cannot use a Butterfly Wing to return — your save point will be changed.

 
Visiting Father Yosuke

 

3.1 Go to Father Yosuke. He can be found near the bridge northwest of Prontera.

 


Exit Prontera through the west gate, then go left (upper portal) → up.
Navigation: /navi prt_fild00 208/218.

3.2 In the center of the map, you’ll find an Ascetic, who is Father Yosuke. Speak to him, then return to Prontera.
Note: You cannot use a Butterfly Wing to return — your save point will be changed.

 

 

4. Return to Prontera Church. Once you have completed your assigned pilgrimage, speak to Father Mareusis again at /navi prt_church 184/41.
He will grant you the Acolyte job.

 

 

Don’t forget to set your save point in the city after completing the quest.
