1. In the Payon outskirts, witness a conflict between Banjac /navi pay_fild08 51/82 and the Innkeeper to begin the trial.
2. It seems the man was taken to the Inn. Go to Payon and talk to Banjac again at /navi payon 192/90. He will tell you that he was mistakenly accused of being a thief. He also lost some of his belongings, including valuable artifacts. Your conversation will be interrupted by the enraged Innkeeper, who is furious that Banjac is idling instead of working off his debt.
3. After the argument, a Kiddo appears at /navi payon 187/94. Talk to her. She says she saw the thief. According to her, while Banjac was sleeping, the Innkeeper and the Woodcutter stole all his belongings and buried them in the forest.
4. After the conversation, the girl transforms into a cat Mewlin /navi payon 187/97. Talk to her to begin searching for the stolen items.
5. Follow the navigation to the hidden stash at /navi pay_fild08 53/128. Click on the Bundle of goods to recover the hidden items, then talk to Mewlin at /navi pay_fild08 56/126. She will tell you a bit about Banjac’s past.
6. Return to the Inn, where Banjac will be waiting at /navi payon 192/90. The Innkeeper denies any involvement, but the girl appears at the right moment and tells what she witnessed. In the end, the conflict is resolved, and the frightened Innkeeper backs off from the young man.
7. Head north of Payon to meet Banjac again at /navi payon 241/294. He explains that since you were able to see the familiar cat, you possess extraordinary power. For the ritual, he needs a Medium with a pure soul. Agree to help him.
8. The ritual requires several items. Bring Mewlin 44х 
Nine Tails. Go to the Payon Dungeon and defeat monsters until you collect the required amount, then talk to Mewlin at /navi pay_dun04 120/116. She will take the tails and lead you out of the cave.
9. In Payon, talk to Banjac at /navi payon 241/294. He will explain the ritual. Create a party and speak to him again to enter the ritual chamber.
10. Inside, monsters will attack you. Defeat them to complete the trial.
11. Talk to Soha inside the dungeon at /navi 1@soul 81/80. He will thank you for selflessly helping his sister and send you back to Payon.
12. Talk to Banjac again in Payon at /navi payon 241/294 and tell him what happened inside. As a reward, he will help unlock your hidden potential and grant you the new job.
