1. In Prontera Church, talk to the Praying Minister /navi prt_church 103/88 to begin the quest. The praying Praying Minister will instruct you to go on a pilgrimage and send you to Priest Dayan in Umbala.
2. Talk to Priest Dayan /navi umbala 139/227. When prompted, enter “I'm here for the Holy Pilgrimage.” He will then send you to the spring at the roots of Yggdrasil, where you will perform a purification ritual.
3. Enter Trunk of Yggdrasil and head toward one of the Beginnings and Ends of the World - Hvergelmir /navi yggdrasil01 220/47. Perform the ritual and repent. After completing the prayer, you will be teleported back to Umbala.
4. Return to Priest Dayan /navi prt_church 103/88. He will tell you that you must visit one more place - the northern Schwarzwald village of Hugel. Sister Vinue’s condition is worrying, and she needs to be checked on.
5. In Hugel Church, find the Praying Nun /navi hu_in01 205/204. She will tell you she has been having nightmares recently - in her dreams, a Valkyrie calls for help. Investigate the Odin Temple to find any clues.
6. On the second floor of Odin Temple, talk to the Valkyrie Illusion /navi odin_tem02 281/275. She will transport you to a special area.
7. Inside, talk to the Valkyrie again. She will ask for your help - to find the Broken Horn Flute and bring it to the highest point of the temple. After the dialogue, you will be moved to the trial area.
8. Summon a mercenary and move to the first point. You will face the first nightmare - Valkyrie Knightmare /navi job3_arch02 113/327. Once you defeat the monster, hurry to the next location - time is limited!
9. Defeat the second Valkyrie's Nightmare /navi job3_arch02 244/46. Obtain a piece of the flute and proceed to the elevated area.
10. Go to the indicated location /navi job3_arch02 279/234. The Valkyrie Anguhilde will appear before you. Thanks to your help, she will be able to return to Asgard. You will also receive her blessing, gain your new profession, and be rewarded for completing the trial with:
