1. In the port city of Alberta, speak with Bard /navi alberta 196/133 to begin the test.
2. Karian will ask you to gather information about the Maestro Song. Go to Prontera and talk to the Warmhearted woman /navi prontera 141/97.
3. She will tell you she’s never heard of him, but since it’s related to songs, you might want to ask the Glasses-wearing Man near the castle gate. It’s said he’s compiling a collection of the “100 hit songs.”
4. Talk to the Glasses-wearing Man /navi prontera 140/331. He’ll tell you that Song wrote many famous songs, but nothing has been heard of him lately. The Woman in front of the Grocery Store might know more details, so he sends you to her.
5. Speak to the Woman /navi prontera 146/218. She’ll tell you a bit about Song’s relationship with his father but doesn’t know where he went. He was last seen in Alberta. Unfortunately, Song is not in Prontera. Return to Karian /navi alberta 196/133 in Alberta and share what you’ve learned.
6. Karian /navi alberta 196/133 will tell you he’s obtained some information from a local captain. A man resembling Song boarded a ship to Hugel. Since ships aren’t operating now, go to Izlude and board the airship.
7. Talk to Karian /navi airplane 222/67 on board the airship. He’s feeling very seasick. After the conversation, you will be transported to an inn in Hugel.
8. Karian /navi hu_in01 267/5 still hasn’t recovered from the trip. Visit the tavern - locals there might know something useful.
9. In the tavern, find the Tone-deaf person /navi hu_in01 361/103. He’ll tell you he met Song in the past and that Song even liked one of his songs.
10. Return to Karian /navi hu_in01 267/5 and tell him what you learned. He’ll ask you to search for Song around the Thanatos Tower area.
11. Pick up a Strange Scrap of Paper /navi tha_scene01 140/200. It turns out to be a receipt for a photograph from a studio in Juno. Karian decides to go there and look for more clues.
12. Visit the office near Juno’s plaza and speak with Mr. Click /navi yuno 143/170. Upon finding a very strange photo, Karian notices the words “33 Teddy Bears” written on the back. The manager mentions that Teddy Bears can be found in the area between Einbroch and Lighthalzen - this might be another clue.
13. Defeat 33 Teddy Bear, then go to Lighthalzen to meet Karian. In town, a Little girl /navi lighthalzen 162/126 will stop you and say she once saw a man with lots of teddy bears. He stayed at a hotel for a while and then went to the Ice Cave.
14. Go explore the Ice Cave /navi ice_dun01 22/85. During your search, you’ll be teleported around the cave, and your head will start spinning.
15. You’ll wake up in one of the houses in Rachel. Talk to the Old woman /navi ra_in01 358/130. She’ll tell you that you nearly froze to death and that it’s lucky her husband found you in time. She also mentions a Man with Teddy Bears who froze in the cave and decided to go somewhere warmer - Comodo.
16. Since Karian refuses to travel by airship, you decide to take a different route. In the southern part of Veins, there’s an outpost where you can find a boat to Comodo. Find the Notice /navi ve_fild07 131/132 and board the kayak.
Don’t forget to bail out the water, or you might not make it to Comodo.
17. You almost drowned, but fortunately, you managed to reach Comodo. Talk to Karian /navi comodo 184/108. He suggests asking the locals for information.
18. Talk to the Kayak Master /navi comodo 192/119. He says he’s never heard of Song, but the Woman Roasting Meat has an amazing memory for faces.
19. Find the Woman Roasting Meat /navi comodo 159/316. She’ll tell you that Song visited her establishment a few years ago to have a good time. When he grew tired of noisy crowds, he decided to go somewhere quiet Morroc.
20. Speak with Karian /navi moc_fild16 206/232 near Morroc. You’ll find a torn piece of paper in the sand. In the note, Song writes that he wants to visit the Clock Tower in Aldebaran.
21. Go to Aldebaran and talk to Karian /navi aldebaran 140/130. He’ll open up about a friend who used to come here during hard times to gaze at the tower. Lost in memories, Karian decides to return to Prontera.
22. Near the southern gate of Prontera /navi prontera 155/48, you’ll notice something strange. How could Karian know the lyrics to that song? After the dialogue ends, you’ll be teleported into a room.
23. Inside, Karian /navi prt_in 94/172 reveals that he is, in fact, Maestro Song. He thanks you for your journey together and grants you the opportunity to become a Maestro.
