1. Go to the top floor of Geffen Tower and speak with Wizard Guildsman Catherine /navi gef_tower 111/37 to begin the test.
If you start the quest at Job Level 50, you will be allowed to skip to the first test (see Step 2).
If your Job Level is lower, you must bring some required items.

 

 

You can open your Quest Log and check the required items using the shortcut Alt + U.

Give the gemstones to the Wizard Guildsman and proceed to the next test.

 

2. Speak with Gloomy Wizard Laurel /navi gef_tower 102/24 to begin the written exam. If you answer 9 out of 10 questions correctly, the test will be cleared.

3. The third test is about identifying and handling three different elemental properties of magic. Speak with Laurel again /navi gef_tower 102/24, and he will send you to the waiting room. Enter the chat to be transported to the monster rooms.

 

 

*If you die during the final test, before re-entering the waiting room you must answer a few additional questions:

1. Choose the monster with a different attribute than the others. Cornutus

The first room is filled with Water monsters. Best killed with Wind magic. You have 3 minutes to defeat all monsters.

* If you fail the test 5 times, Laurel will offer you an alternative. Bring him 1x Worn Out Scroll, and he will count the test as cleared.
 


4. If you successfully complete the third test, speak with Wizard Guildsman Catherine /navi gef_tower 111/37 to change your job to Wizard.
As a reward, you will receive: 6x Blue Potion.
