1. Go to St. Katarina Monastery and talk to Tohobu at /navi prt_monk 59/247 to begin the trial. He will direct you to the pastor.

 

 

2. Sensei Moohae is inside the church at /navi monk_in 99/58. He will explain that a monk’s life is difficult and full of hardships, and only a strong-willed person can become one. To prove your determination, you must collect several items.

 

 

You can open the Quest Log and view the list of required materials by pressing Alt + U.

3. After collecting the items, return to Sensei Moohae. He will send you to meet Touha at /navi prt_monk 251/255, located north of the map near the graveyard.

 

 

4. Touha will say she will purify your body and soul of all earthly desires. You must memorize and then recite a short poem.

5. After completing the purification ritual, Touha will admire your determination and send you to Boohae at /navi prt_monk 57/179 for the next trial.

 

 

6. Talk to Boohae at /navi prt_monk 57/179. He will offer you two trials to choose from: Mushroom Gathering or Marathon. The first is slightly easier and faster, so it is recommended.

7. Go to the Door Keeper at /navi prt_monk 199/169. He will transport you to the location where the third trial takes place.

 

 

Mushroom Gathering A Trial of Patience and Endurance

8.1 Once inside, talk to the Hyunmoo at /navi job_monk 225/180. He will ask you to collect 30 mushrooms of each type. Defeat the mushrooms growing across the map until you have collected:  30х Orange Net Mushroom и 30х Orange Gooey Mushroom.     8.2 After collecting them, return to the Assistant. He will confirm your task and send you to Tomoon at /navi monk_test 319/139, who lives beneath the monastery.

Marathon A Trial of Endurance

8.1 Once inside, speak with the Trainee to begin. You will need to run forward while avoiding pitfall traps.     8.2 After successfully completing the trial, the Trainee will send you to Tomoon at /navi monk_test 319/139, who lives beneath the monastery.

 

 

9. Tomoon /navi monk_test 319/139 will explain that the final trial for aspiring monks is the exorcism of the undead. He will then transport you to a small corridor with 3 examiners. Speak with any of them to begin.

 

 

10. In the invisible maze, you must reach the portal on the far side of the room. Undead monsters zombies and mummies will appear along the way. Defeating them is not required, but if you die, you must restart the maze.

 

11. Upon successfully reaching and entering the portal, you will be transported to the monastery entrance. Enter the building and talk to Tomoon /navi monk_test 319/139.
He will tell you he was not mistaken about you and give you a special potion to enhance your inner strength Green Potion then direct you back to Sensei Moohae.

 

12. Speak with Sensei Moohae at /navi monk_in 99/58 to receive your new profession.Be sure to dismount from your riding animal before speaking to him.

 

If your Job Level is 50, you will be rewarded with Knuckle Dusters [3].
If lower than 50, you will receive Waghnak [3].
